Privacy Policy
Plain English. The short version: we don't collect much, we don't sell anything to anyone, and we don't track you across the web.
Who we are
The Mountain Wilds Web Design is a sole-proprietor web design business operated by Arien Seghetti, based in Ball Ground, Georgia (ZIP 30107). You can reach us at themountainwilds@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you book a call through Calendly, you provide your name, email, and any notes you choose to add. That information is held in our Calendly and Gmail accounts and is used only to schedule and respond to your inquiry.
If you email us, we keep the email like any normal Gmail thread — it sits in our inbox.
If you become a paying client, we hold the information needed to invoice and deliver your project: business name, billing address, login credentials for any platforms we set up on your behalf, and any content you give us to put on your site. That information is stored in standard business tools (Google Workspace, Vercel, Stripe).
What we don't collect
- We don't run an analytics tracker, heatmap, or session recorder on this site.
- We don't have a marketing pixel from Meta, Google, LinkedIn, or anyone else.
- We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone for any reason.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies for tracking. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may set a small functional cookie to route requests; that's all.
Sites we build for clients
The websites we design and deploy on behalf of our clients are owned by those clients. Their privacy practices are their own. We can advise on what's reasonable, but the legal accountability for their site sits with them.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what information we have about you, request a copy, or ask us to delete it. Email themountainwilds@gmail.com and we'll respond within a few business days.
Changes
If we update this policy in a meaningful way, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and, if the change is significant, post a brief note on the homepage for a couple of weeks.
